General Go Slow Yoga Classes

ONLINE by the term.

Given the prevalence of trauma in our society, it is assumed that one or more participants in all general yoga classes has a trauma history. Whilst these classes are open to the general public, they maintain trauma sensitive yoga principles.

Each class is designed to support participants just as they are, everything is optional, modifications are offered and participants are invited to choose how they move and at a pace that is comfortable for them. The focus is on moment to moment awareness and the felt sense of the body, slowing down to nourish yourself.

Each class incorporates accessible Hatha yoga postures, breathing practices, meditation, gentle strength, restorative practices as well as  some yogic philosophy.

Props (which can be found in your home) may be used and chanting  practices are included, but as with everything, participation is optional.

Go Slow Yoga classes would suit those who might feel overwhelmed or overlooked in larger, fast paced classes. Bendy and not so bendy bodies of any size and level of experience are welcome.

 Lycra optional, tracksuits welcome!

You are welcome to book a TASTER CLASS to see if this is the right fit for you.
