Trauma Sensitive Yoga classes are available to Community Service Organisations who are seeking complimentary support for their client base.
The aim of these classes is to support your clients to mindfully notice what is happening in their bodies (interoceptive awareness) through the practice of accessible yoga movement and breathing practices.
Participants will be invited to practice at a pace and in a way that they choose is suitable for them.
As a facilitator I provide options and invite participants to gently notice where they are (grounding) and what is going on within their body, gradually creating capacity for increased self awareness and self regulation.
Organisations that may be interested in these classes for their clients or members include, but are not limited to;
Mental health support services
Victims of Crime
First responders
Community services workers
Refugee and settlement services
Family violence services
Frontline health workers
Centres Against Sexual Assault (CASAs).
Defence (serving or ex serving)
No prior yoga experience is necessary.
Classes are available in person or ONLINE via Zoom depending on need and location.
I also offer classes in support of staff. Please get in touch to discuss the best support for your organisation and client base.
